Defense of Iacon, Part 1 - Diversionary Tactics

[Grim Rod]

Mirage: I'm over here.
Mirage was back up on his feet, and had a blaster in his hands.
Mirage: No need to worry Prowl, I'm behind you all the way.
Cliffjumper: I've told him to stay back to avoid getting shot too much.
Red Alert: Getting shot once is too much.
The door banged loudly again.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl was surprised to hear Mirage up and ready to roll. He was still concentrating the door. But with a smirk now.

"I would say for you stand down since your in no shape to fight. But then you would refuse and I'll have deal stubborn once more. So....I'll let you fight for now. But if you even get hit once. You have to sit out. You understand me Mirage?" Prowl said not in the mood to deal with stubborn mechs....

[Grim Rod]

Mirage nodded, then realised Prowl couldn't see him.
Mirage: Okay Prowl, will do.
Red Alert: Quiet! This is it.
The door buckled. Then with a blast it flew from the door frame and crashed to the floor.
A Decepticon stuck his head through the door.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl went quiet when the door frame crashed. He kept his gun and missiles locked on the door and waited for the right minute to fire. Though one con peeked in. It wasn't enough til a few came in. Then fest would begin...

[Grim Rod]

The first con, seeing no Autobots, stalked in through the door. The cowards must be hiding somewhere inside. Two more came in behind him.
Cliffjumper's trigger finger twitched, but he held back, waiting for Prowl's order.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl held up his hand to hold there fire. It wasn't enough yet he waited til there were at least six or seven in the room and hoping more would come in a couple at a couple at a time. Prowl still waited for six to seven con were in the base.

Once there were. Prowl gave the order to open fire, and then he opened fire himself.....

With seven Decepticons now checking the hallway, two more were also making their way through the doors when the gunfire started.
Missiles tore into the hallway, blasting Decepticons and the walls. Lasers took down three cons before they could even react, and still there were more coming in through the doorway.
Cliffjumper: Wow, what a bunch of morons!

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl nodded in agreement, but to admit that this was a pretty good idea after all. He kept his fire going and hid further into the wall and ducked when he needed to reload. then he would get back into position and fire at the cons again.

Now he wondered how long this would go on till reinforcements arrived. That's if Sentinel was going to send any. But he trust his Prime leader though with some questions asked. He wouldn't abandon his leader though. He just hoped Optronix was and Sentinel was ablehelp them with the pest problem.....

[Grim Rod]

With several Decepticons dead, the rest backed towards the door, stumbling over their fallen comrades. A final rocket from Cliffjumper sent the last two hurtling through the doorway.
Red Alert: Ha, we didi it!
Mirage: Casualties?
Cliffjumper looked around.
Cliffjumper: No, everyone's in one piece.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl looked to everyone and stood up. Slowly making his toward the door. But staying in the shadows. He slowly looks outside to see if any cons were left....

[Grim Rod]

The Decepticons left in the hallway were all dead. A couple of bots were checking their vital signs.
Three of the bots were gathered around the tables stacked against the back door.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl turned and looked toward Red Alert and motioned him forward toward the door he was at ((Where the cons came in from)) and kept looking out for anything unusual outside the Base.....

[Grim Rod]

Red Alert came over to Prowl.
Red Alert: Something wrong Prowl?
The three Autobots were conversing in front of the tables by the door.

[Prowl Spartan]

Prowl smiled lightly no shock his head. "No. Nothings wrong. I just you tell everyone to stay here while we go check the rest of the sector for left over cons. If we won't be spotted so easily if there are some cons around." Prowl said as he never took his optics off of the rest of the base outside....

[Grim Rod]

Red Alert: Okay then. Everyone, stay where you are, alright?
Cliffjuper: Well where are we gonna go.
Red Alert thought for a moment.
Red Alert: Fair enough.
He waited for Prowl to go outside.
The other Autobots were laughing at Cliffjumper's response to Red Alert's order.
