The battle on the outskirts of Iacon was done. Shockwave and his forces had been repelled, and the Autobot reinforcements had arrived to see off the last of the invaders. The joy at this achievement was slowly dying away, to be replaced with cold realisation; Autobots had died, Scyk had been attacked, and the threat of another assault was imminent. Prowl's inert form lay in a side room from the main communications centre. Optronix sat in the chair by his bed, tapping away at his datapad. He didn't want to write up a report, but it would at least save Prowl the effort. But it was still dull. Out in the main hall, which was serving as the communications centre, Mirage and Cliffjunmper were discussing the best course of action. Heatedly. Red Alert was trying to give his opinion, but neither of the two was listening. Hound, Blurr and Aquafend were stood about listening. OOC: As of now, what with Hotshot's disappearance and Cherrystar's long term absence, I'll be taking over Blurr and Aquafend. Two more'll hardly make a difference, eh?

Prowl slowly woke up out of recharge and looked around. He noticed Optronix next to him and smiled softly. Prowl then sat up and looked around from a better view and then looked toward Optronix. "Hello Optronix. How long was I out?" Prowl asked as he kept his optics on Optronix....

Optronix gave a jolt, but managed not to drop his datapad. Optronix: Gah! Oh, Prowl. You're awake. He smiled with relief. Optronix: Two and a half cycles. He looked out into the hall, where Cliffjumper and Mirage's voices were rising. Optronix: I'd say you should rest, but I'm not sure we have time. Red Alert's convinced there'll be another attack.

Prowl looked to Optronix as he jumped a little by him. Prowl felt sorry for making him jump like that. He nodded and heard what Optronix had to say and gave another nod. "Good. Honestly it wouldn't have done good to tell me to rest. We have alot to do then if Red Alert believes this. I will go talk to him and figure out more. I think he's probably just stressed out is all." Prowl said as he then looked in the direction Cliffjumper and Mirage's voices were and then sighed. "And maybe see what Cliffjumper and Mirage are raising their voices about. Unless you would like to see while I check on Red Alert." Prowl said as he gave the option to Optronix. He never knew. It could be something ridiculous for what anyone knew. But then he didn't want to think about it either.
Prowl tried to get up. As he did so he lost a bit of balance and then regained it in time. He looked to Optronix and gave a small smile. "Oh. I'm sorry for for startling you. Did you think I would have stayed in recharge a bit longer?" Prowl asked. He was only curious.....

Optronix went to help Prowl as he lost his balance, but stopped as he regained his footing. He nodded at Prowl's question. Optronix; You took a fair pummeling in that battle, although you seemed to avoid the worst of that EMP grenade, from what I saw of the others. He glanced at Mirage and Cliffjumper, who were waving their arms now to emphasize their point. Optronix: I'll talk to them while you see Red Alert, I guess. If anything, it'll save time. he made towards the door, then turned back to Prowl. Optronix: Whatever you decided to do, I'm right behind you, Prowl.

Prowl accepted Optronix's help when he lost his balance. Prowl nodded, and when he saw Optronix leave his side, he watched him as he walked away, stop and look back to him Prowl. Prowl felt a little touched by what Optronix said. No one but maybe Sentinel Prime, he was unsure though. Prowl smiled softly and nodded. "Thank you Optronix. And the same for you." Prowl said. He meant it too.
Prowl then went to see Red Alert to figure out what was going on. Once he did, Prowl tapped him on the shoulder and then motioned him away from the argument that was occurring between Mirage and Cliffjumper. Prowl then moved toward the door, stopped and turned, waiting for Red Alert.

Optronix had distracted Cliffjumper and Mirage while Prowl had garnered Red Alert's attention. As the logician and head of security walked off, Optronix put his diplomacy head on. Optronix: What's the argument? Mirage: Oh, don't you start, Secretarybot. Cliffjumper: Hey, don't talk to him like that! Mirage folded his arms. Mirage: And why are you being so defensive of him? Cliffjumper: cause he did more in that battle than you did. Mirage bristled. Mirage: I was injured, in case you'd forgotten. Cliffjumper: And Optronix managed not to get himself injured. Optronix held his face in his hand as the two continued to bicker.
Red Alert followed Prowl to the doorway. Red Alert: I'm glad to see you're awake. Are you sure you shouldn't be taking it easy? He thought for a moment. Red Alert: I don't suppose it's really the time for R & R, is it? So what's your plan? A couple of bots were looking in their direction, but they didn't seem eager to interrupt.

Prowl looked to Red Alert and part of the room where he wouldn't be in the line of arguing with the bickering duo, but could be near in case a fist fight broke out and he would be there to solve it quickly. Then he put his focus on Red Alert. "Thank you Red, But For me it isn't. I really don't have a plan but I hear that your feeling uneasy and think there is going to be another battle occurring soon. Could you fill me in on why you think that? You have my full attention." I said as I was ready to listen to Red Alert's conclusion.
He probably wasn't going to like hearing it, but he was ready to hear it anyway. Maybe so he could help Red Alert relieve some stress in his processors....

Red Alert: The Decepticons attacked about three cycles ago. By now, Wildrider will probably have told them that we're aware of the attack on Scyk. Optronix was now trying to mover between mirage and Cliffumper. Red Alert: They're not going to want us warning Iacon, in case Sentinel Prime sends reinforcements to the fort. Cliffjumper was trying to get past Optronix, and Mirage was trying t shove him out of the way. Red Alert: Shockwave was clearly in command, but he seemed a bit out of it when he escaped, so I think we've taken out the proverbial cyberpython's head. If that is the case, they're probably without a leader, but if they're still after us they probably won't have much of a strategy. Optronix was desperately trying to control the two bots. Red Alert: Which means that they're likely to launch an all out attack on the base in the hopes of stopping us from getting to Iacon. Hound had appeared at Prowl's shoulder. Hound: Then we should leave before they arrive. Mirage: Will you GET OUT OF THE WAY! Mirage shoved Optronix to the floor. Cliffumper leapt forward and shoved Mirage backwards. Cliffjumper: Leave off him, transistor head!

Prowl listened to What Red Alert said and had to agree. When Hound jumped in too, he agreed with him as well. "I agree. But I was ordered to stay here. I haven't been able to get further orders. But If that's the only way. Then we'll have to take it." Prowl said. He was stopped by Mirages outburst and he turned to see Optronix being shoved down by Mirage and Cliffjumper shoving Mirage down as well. Prowl quickly turned and ran over to them and got between the two. Prowl's faceplate showing he wasn't in the mood for something like this. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO!!! CALM YOUR CURBOS DOWN AND STAND DOWN!!!" He shouted in a angry tone. He wasn't hoping to resolve to that but it seemed it was the only thing to get to them. He hoped Optronix wasn't hurt....

OOC: I presume you meant he hoped he wasn't hurt? Cliffjumper and Mirage stopped arguing as prowl appeared. The were rather taken aback by his explosion. As Optronix got up, Mirage recovered. Mirage: Have you forgotten who's in charge here? Optronix: I think you just proved it shouldn't be you. Mirage glared at him. Cliffjumper: Idiot. Red Alert: There's no point in us getting into a fight with the Decepticons at our door. Mirage turned. Mirage: Literally? Red Alert: No, not literally. Mirage glared at Prowl. Mirage: You going to mutiny now?

OOC: OMG!! I fixed. I was tired while posting sorry. Prowl glared at Mirage. Surprised himself of his sudden explosion. He was having a hard time like everyone and for Prowl. He was running low on tactical solutions. He then calmed himself, letting his mind go to ease and then he spoke. "Sorry. I'm just having a hard time like everyone else. But Red Alert is right. We can't start fights among each other when the 'cons are near out door step, probably planning another strike at us. If we can somehow get communications back. Though I don't think the device I made will help us again. Then we can try to get ahold of Sentinel and see what we should do." Prowl said. Then he looked to Red Alert. "Are the communications still down?" Prowl asked, just to make sure....

Red Alert: More than down. The last message we sent totally fried the system. We'd need a whole energon generator to get a few kliks reception. Hund: That's a unit of distance. Red Alert: I was talking about distance. Hound: Oh. Red Alert: Anyway, I don't think that's an option anymore. Mirage: Meaning? Red Alert: That it's not an option anymore. Cliffjumper: So what do we do? Mirage: Let me guess: something else? Red Alert: Yes.

Prowl sighed. Now knowing this was going to be tough without other communication with Iacon. Prowl looked to Mirage. "Great...narrowing down a lot of options I had in mind. Well....the only thing I had in mind was that we send two bots to Iacon and see if Sentinel had anything in mind. But then we have to deal with who knows how many 'cons out there. Then there is Red and Hounds thought which was to leave before they come and attack again. But Honestly, I think we should stay here and try to hold out a few more cycles." Prowl said as he started thinking. He looked to Red Alert again. "How much supplies do we have left compared to how much we had before the attack? And what's our status on troops?" Prowl asked. Though he was trying not to ask so much but Prowl needed to know before another attack could be launched....

Red Alert: There are twenty of us left, and five of them are injured. Two of them are critical. Supply wise, we're not doing too badly, and we should be able to last another nine, maybe nine-and-a-half solar cycles. Hound: If we are going to be sending anyone, I'll volunteer. I'm a scout, so... Mirage: We haven't decided on anything yet. Cliffjumper: I'll go too. Mirage: We haven't de... Cliffjumper: Oh, leave it. Mirage went to say something else, but Blurr interjected. Blurr: Maybe I should probably go outside and search around to see if maybe I can find some sort of sign of traces of Decepticons? Mirage blinked: Uh... what?
