Fires burnt across the fortress of Scyk, and smoke billowed into the evening sky. A short time ago the Casseticons had disabled the communications hub of the fort, and almost immediately afterward the Decepticons had begun their assault. Skyraiders had leapt from the sky while ground forces had appeared from beyond the ruins of Yuss to ram the gates. In the midst of this attack, Alpha Trion and Sandstrom had arrived along with a pilot killed by their boobytrapped ship. As they made their way to the barracks to find Ultra Magnus, their attention was caught by a crashing shuttle which, unbeknownst to them, contains the crew of a rescue mission, along with their released comrade and a Decepcticon comrade. The ship plowed into the communications hub, while a battle raged at the barracks.
Sandstorm pointed in the direction of the crash site. Sandstorm: You think they might've survived? He turned to Alpha Trion, clearly hoping to search for survivors.

Alpha Trion could not, and would never, summarise this as a good day. The war was officially in full swing, his pilot to Fort Scyk had been killed by decepticons, and worse yet, the fort itself was under attack. However, more immediately, a shuttle had crashed straight into the communications hub. "I wouldn't know about their odds of survival, due to all the various circumstances, but I do know this - I sure as the abyss aren't just gonna leave them to do to die if they did." Alpha Trion yelled, running towards the crash site, still dragging the platform behind him.

Sanstorm hurried after him. He wanted to transform, but he hadn't notice Alpha Trion and transform, and it was possible he might not be able to. Either that or he transformed into soemthing that didn't move, like a computer. Sandstorm: I couldn't agree more, but don't you think we should send that equipment somewhere else? You said it was pretty volatile!

Alpha Trion really hated the fact it was near impossible for him to transform, but thats just what came from having not done it in so long. Sandstorm showed concern for the safety of the 'large box', though Alpha Trion shook his head. "I said it could blow us to Scyk back when we were on the shuttle, not that it was volatile." Alpha Trion said, remaining cryptic about the true nature of the contents.

Sandstorm hadn't the faintest idea what Alpha Trion meant, but now wasn't the time to question him further. Sansdstorm: Okay then, let's just get there! The two carried on along the street to a flight of steps.

Alpha Trion nodded to Sandstorm's statement, shortly before they reached a flight of steps. "C'mon then, time waits for no bot." Alpha Trion yelled, climbing up the steps with a surprising amount of vigour for one so old.

If Sandstorm had just met Alpha Trion, he'd say the old bot was almost enjoying himself. As it was, he couldn't deny that Alpha Trion had certainly livened up a bit. sandstorm bounded after him, followed by the mysterious crate. A Decepticon was stood at the top of the steps, blaster at the ready. He aimed at Alpha Trion's head. Decepticon: Don't move, you outdated model!

Alpha Trion ignored the order to freeze, instead continuing to run as he pulled his toolbox off he platform, and tossed it at the decepicon, hopefully it would provide enough of a distraction, so he could ram straight into the decepticon's chest plate. "Outdated is just another term for wiser than the current model you maniacal cretin!" The old bot yelled, turning the insult about his age into somehing slightly more inspired.

The Decepticon, taken aback by both the vocabulary and the toolbox to the face, fell to the floor in a heap. Sandstorm was close behind Alpha Trion. He leapt straight over the Decepticon, followed by the crate of mysteries, which glided over the floored thug. The communications hub, or more accurately its remains, loomed ahead.

OOC: Warpath and Arcee? If you start them off at the barracks, then they could head for the communications hub?

({ooc: Together again? xD I can do that. I need to read over the thread one more time, and am posting.)}
Warpath The explosions started rather suddenly, and he was ready quick as they started. Couple 'cons got a bit cocky, eh? They'd be taken care of soon enough. But quickly it was discovered that communications were down, and after that there was a crash in the direction of the hub. Soon enough, Warpath and possibly a couple others had set out to investigate and help where needed.
Arcee Arcee was one of those others, though she departed from a different exit. Clearly more help was needed there than was here, and she was prepared to go in. A few well-placed shots could always help a battle, no matter how thick or thin.
((ooc: Not much, I know... Trying to determine how to go about it.))

OOC: Fair enough. I'll throw in a couple of characters.
Sureshot had barrelled out of the door of his quarters, and had quickly found Warpath. The two of them, along with Ultra Magnus and Springer, were now headed in the direction of the hub.
Meanwhile, perhaps rather unfortunately, Arcee ran straight into Hot Rod. He looked indecently excited by the event. Hot Rod: Hey, Arcee! I'm headed to the communications hub, see if anyone on that shuttle's made it out alive. Wanna come. Over to one side, Hoist was trying to calm Sideswipe.

Alpha Truon gave a smirk as he grabbed back his toolbox before it could hit the ground, his platform - and subsequently it's anti-grav thrust - going over the decepticon's face. Alpha Trion doubed he'd be getting back up any time soon. They weren't far now it seemed, and Alpha Trion was ready to get to work on any survivors they might find. The sound of engines could be heard in the distance, Alpha Trion looking to Sandstorm as he pulled out a plasma torch. "Prep your blaster, might be the cons."

Sandstorm's blaster was at the ready. He glanced back at the con, who lay motionelss on the floor. Sandstorm: You want me to take point? The engine sounds continued.
